Your keys have vanished again and you are already running late. Clip on this item finder, connect it to your smartphone using a location app, and the daily hunt turns into a two second job. When you are close, press the sound button and a loud ringtone beeps until you follow it to a coat pocket. Beyond Bluetooth range it is a proximity finder, not a live location device: the map shows where the item was last spotted.
Bluetooth trackers like this one work within a range of 164 feet (50 m); beyond that, open the app to see the last spotted position on the map, backed by a crowd location network in which other nearby smartphones help refresh it. As a smart tag it pairs with your smartphone through a location app, and you can talk to your phone to set off the beep hands free. It attaches to keys, wallets, bags, suitcases, pets and bikes without adding noticeable weight, so it works as a key tracker, a wallet finder, a bike tracker and a suitcase tracker.
Used as a tracker for keys or a bluetooth key finder, it carries an IP67 rating that shrugs off rain, spills and outdoor weather. Sharing is built in, so this smart tracker lets two phones follow the same item and keeps family members informed. It is a Bluetooth proximity item tracker, not a live location device.
