This wireless light bulb security camera combines the brightness of a house light with the monitoring power of a WiFi surveillance camera. It screws into a light socket, so there is no separate power supply to run, and the wide 3.6 mm lens gives you a good view of the vicinity. Video is captured at HD resolution with a 1280 x 720 sensor and H.264 compression at 20 FPS, and you can watch the live feed on your phone or tablet from anywhere with a connection.
The camera light bulb rotates to cover a 360 degree view of the space around it, with 355 degrees of horizontal travel and 90 degrees of vertical tilt, and you control that movement directly through the app. Night vision uses a dual light auto-switch with four infrared and four white LEDs, effective from roughly 16 to 33 ft depending on the environment, and minimum illumination is 0.01 Lux with AGC on or 0 Lux with infrared.
Setup stays wireless throughout. The bulb camera connects over WiFi or its own AP hotspot on the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard, with no Ethernet port needed. Two-way audio, motion detection with image push and ONVIF support round out the smart features, and footage can be kept on a TF card of up to 64 GB or in optional cloud storage.
